CLASSES/TRAINING
Evolv Acting Studio is proud to teach a raw and powerful style of acting with actor training classes throughout the week for beginners and long-time actors alike. Our experienced instructors have performed in local theater as well as in internationally recognized television shows and movies. We keep acting classes small to receive the personalized actor training instruction they need, while also getting used to acting in a group. Audits for the Evolv Atlanta Acting Studio take place on Mondays at 7 pm. All interested students must complete an audit, it's a necessary step to assure everyone's level of seriousness and safety.
$25/per person which will be deducted from the first monthly fee if the auditor joins the studio. You may start at any time, there's no need to wait to start taking acting classes until the first of the month.
EVOLV CLASS SCHEDULE
INTRODUCTORY ACTING CLASSES
The Introductory Class is an introduction or a review of the tools as outlined in THE POWER OF THE ACTOR. This is a great class not only for beginners but also for anyone who wants to familiarize themselves with the vocabulary and practical application of the tools. Classes are open to 16 yrs and up (students under 18 must have a pre-sign-up meeting with Mr. Love)
$250/for 4 classes monthly
WEDNESDAY: 7 pm - 11:00 pm
SATURDAY: 1 pm - 4:00 pm
INTERMEDIATE ACTING CLASSES
This is the class as it is offered now, with the exception of newcomers to acting or actors who do not have a working knowledge of the tools and the mindful tools used in creating real behavior that is a product of the introductory class.
$250/for 4 classes monthly
MASTER CLASSES
The requirements for being in the master class is a thorough working knowledge of the tools and professional pursuit of acting. This will be an invitation-only class. A taped audition is required to be considered for this class.
Intensive scene study. Character development. Introduction to other recognized acting techniques, audition skills, professional coaching, and access to a nationally recognized photographer who will help create video to use on all the casting sights.
$250/for 4 classes monthly

At EVOLV ATLANTA we use techniques like the script analysis from THE POWER OF THE ACTOR by Ivana Chubbuck, the proven tool of mindfulness as outlined in the book THE MINDFUL ATHLETE by George Mumford, ATOMIC HABITS by James Clear, and the techniques outlined in ON ACTING by Sanford Meisner. All three books are required reading for all classes.
